Proven Success with EVgo

EVgo is proud to be an integral partner with Penske Truck Leasing, Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), Gladstein, Neandross & Associates, and the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) on a pilot (currently in operation) that has deployed some of the first Class 8 Electric Trucks in North America into commercial service.

Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) delivered the first vehicle in its Freightliner Electric Innovation Fleet – a Freightliner eM2 – to Penske Truck Leasing in December 2018.

Since early 2019, EVgo has provided charging hardware (ABB Terra 54) on its proprietary FastStart platform at the Penske Temecula depot, one of four commercial heavy-duty electric vehicle charging stations in at Penske Southern California locations. As part of the ongoing 2-year pilot, EVgo provides ongoing preventative and corrective maintenance, analytics, & reporting.

In December 2019, Penske Logistics announced it had logged more than 10,000 miles in Heavy-Duty Electric Trucks – an industry milestone.
